What better way to spend a spring weekend than to run away to the Columbia Valley with other women with one goal? To become Guitar Heroes. We will tackle the basic building blocks for playing, including chords, strumming and fingerpicking in a relaxed and welcoming group atmosphere. This retreat will take place in Windermere, BC (just south of Invermere) and the price includes all instruction, materials, accommodation, and access to Sue all weekend, as well as a mini-concert on Saturday night. As with all Guitar Mama Retreats - to date at least - we will self-cater, and plan to have a pot-luck meal on Saturday. There will also be time for rest, and wandering by the water - or whatever YOU need to feed yourself.
