A: The games are played 8v8 for Mile High Shootout and 10v10 for Dodgeball After Dark. A team may have extra rostered players. Teams can choose to substitute players with extra rostered players at the start of each game.
Teams have gender requirements of a minimum of two non-cis male players. There are no on-court gender requirements. Barring injury, folks cannot be sidelined consecutive games within a match.
Maximum 4 straight identifying players per roster.

Q: Which ball type are you throwing down?
A: The main tournament will be 7" no-sting. The mini tournament will be 7" glow-in-the-dark foam.
Q: I'm ready to show off a different side of me at D.A.D. What are the clothing requirements?
A: INSIDE the building, the venue has no strict clothing requirements. Your TD is going to basically be wearing a jockstrap, and maybe some flair. Highly recommend the theme of jockstraps and lingerie. OUTSIDE the building, we'll have some privacy screens up for the parking lot party, but please follow public decency regulations. (And no, showing skin is NOT a requirement. Come as you are comfortable!)
Q: I love my teammates, and I want to stick with them for D.A.D. Can we bring a team?
A: D.A.D is unlike any other dodgeball tournament you’ve likely played in. The vibe we’re going for is VERY well supported with a draft. Submit your name during registration and trust the process. It’s gonna be a blast!
Q: What if I need some liquid courage for D.A.D.
A: Feel free to enjoy RESPONSIBLY! And not on the court. And don't get sloppy.
Q: What set of rules are you using?
A: Our friends over at WeHo Dodgeball have taken the stress of rule writing off us. We'll be using (slightly modified) Sin City Rules: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Cta0i_Rru9u_pSFhpFBj1mDvUpFRYBIV1TI6jSg5m9U/edit?usp=sharing
Q: This is going to be an amazing weekend. How can I help?
A: Denver has an AMAZING contingent of folks, so we want your first priority to be having fun. However, as an overly-involved person (cue the collective gasp of shock of the Denver gays), if you want to help out, let us know! Setup starts 30 minutes before doors open, tear down starts immediately after, and if you want to ref without playing, let us know!
